Lots of small touches - the huge toiletries bottles but also bars of soap, info available on the tv, pen and paper on the big desk. The pool and gym, steam room and hot tub were beautiful and even though we didn't use the spa, we felt super relaxed by the atmosphere. Super location to all the good stuff in downtown Calgary.

Wow, what an incredible stay! The hotel's staff made me feel like royalty, and the stunning room and delightful food added to the experience. I must mention a special incident during my stay - I accidentally left my laptop, but the staff promptly found and safely returned it to my home. Their exceptional service and honesty went above and beyond my expectations. I can't stop raving about this fantastic experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to relive those unforgettable moments and experience the hotel's outstanding hospitality again!

The Hotel is an old Grand hotel.. I booked thru booking.com and called the property to upgrade and paid extra for the upgrade, unfortunately the bathroom was 2x2 ft.. it was so small, I could not stand there with my wife as the same time, one of us had to leave.. its shame such a nice hotel have closet size bathrooms, and that was for an upgraded room. I could imagine the size of the bathroom in standard rooms. Besides the bathroom issue, we had enjoyable stay.

Location was excellent. We watched the Stampede parade from the steps of the hotel. The room had more than we expected, it was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. When a problem with the air on happened, staff were ready to fix it.

The pool was amazing, and the kids loved it! It had the best blue light in there. The robes were a nice touch. Beds were so comfortable. Didn't hear the busy street below. Walking distance to lots of restaurants. The whole hotel was amazing and so well maintained.

The man outside the hotel who took care of valet parking was exceptional. My husband had a cut on his finger and the man noticed this and offered to go get him a bandaid. He arrived with the bandaid plus a towelette to cleanse his finger. Very kind of him and above and beyond good service.

The hotel lived up to its reputation. Beautiful colonial-style hotel. The lobby was decorated for Christmas and it looked magical. The staff was exceptionally friendly and efficient. The valet guys went above and beyond to fix our flat tire and send us on our way safely. Exceptional hospitality. One of my favorite hotels in the world.
